{mooblock=Community Involvement}
Community Involvement
Engaging broad community sectors (i.e. businesses, churches, civic organizations, etc.) is critical to sustainability and building appreciation of the importance of a strong early learning environment. Failure to address early child development issues contributes to poor academic performance, increased dropout rates, crime, poverty, health issues, etc. Providing and promoting the best early child development environment can help communities attract business and build a community of productive workers.
