Lafayette County Get Involved

We encourage those individuals who are interested in our cause to join and assist LOU in our continuing effort to maintain our Certified Early Childhood Community status.  As a community-wide project, Excel By 5 and its agents strive to improve the quality of life for all of our children, giving them an essential head start on learning through emphasizing educational and personal development.  Studies show that a child experiences the highest brain function in its earliest years, typically from birth to age eight.  By recognizing this potential and understanding the need for readily available resources, members of the community can best prepare our children for success as they enter grade school and progress through their formal education years.  If you are interested in serving as an advocate for the LOU Excel By 5 project, please contact Kathy Sukanek or Alice Ricks using the information listed below.  We look forward to welcoming you into our coalition!
